J. C. Erhardt Memorial School (JCEM) is located in the remote Inuit community of Makkovik, on the Northern coast of Labrador. We are a small school with a population of about 76 students and 15 staff members. The students at JCEM are very involved in both school and community activities such as volleyball, hockey, cross-country running, drama, the Pan Labrador Choir, and the Annual Inuktitut Speak-off to name a few.
Through a safe, inclusive, and culturally relevant learning environment, J.C. Erhardt Memorial School will endeavor to provide enriching educational opportunities for students toward: academic, cultural, moral, and social development.
